One of the World’s Highest-Grade Gold Mines
Segovia, located in a historic mining district that has produced gold for more than 150 years, is Aris Mining’s flagship asset and is ramping up to reach its steady-state production of approximately 300,000 ounces per year. In June 2025, a second mill was commissioned at Segovia, increasing the processing plant’s throughput capacity to 3,000 tonnes per day and supporting the operation’s continued production growth. Haulage capacity is being expanded to increase mining rates and reach steady-state production at 3,000 tpd.

Contract Mining Partners
Aris Mining partners with local formal contract mining companies (Contract Mining Partners or CMPs) at its mines in Colombia. This mutually beneficial partnership model was developed at Segovia, has now been transplanted at Marmato and will also be a feature of Soto Norte. CMPs supply mill feed to Aris Mining based on long-term contracts. Aris Mining pays for that mill feed based on a formula linked to the tonnes delivered, grade and gold price at the time of delivery. Approximately 35% of Segovia’s gold production is sourced from material supplied by CMPs, with the balance deriving from owner mining. By treating the CMP mill feed in regulated processing plants, Aris Mining recovers significantly more gold than informal processing methods: Segovia’s processing facilities recover more than 95% of the gold contained in the material, compared with less than 50% using traditional processing methods. I.e. we make the pie bigger, which creates the opportunity to unlock and share value.
CMPs benefit not just from better economics but also working capital financing, comprehensive training programs and being part of the formal economy. The CMP model also helps reduce environmental impacts, supports the formalization and economic participation of local miners, and contributes to higher tax and royalty revenues for local and national governments in Colombia.
